Have just finished 'Skeletons at the Feast' about a german family marching west during the last days of WW2 - a reminder of the horrendous things people are capable of but also a reminder that not all Germans were responsible. I appreciate my very easy life.
Home today - fire fired up - first time this winter - it is cosier than heat pump but also more work!! Am trying to convince Christopher to go and chop wood and bring it up to top wood shed - actually I'd love to change our bottom woodshed into a chook house :) Maybe one day...
Do you want to "bookcrossing" that book to me somehow ... sounds like a good read - I actually heard a review of another Holocaust book on National radio yesterday and it sounded good - must check into it.
